This Privacy Policy explains how the Video Editor app (the “App”) handles information. The App is developed and provided by Romeo Enrique Betances (“we”, “us”, “our”).

Short version: We don’t collect, store, or sell your personal data. Videos you create or select stay on your device unless you choose to export or share them.

1) Data We Collect

We do not collect personal data from you. The App does not require creating an account and does not store user profiles, email addresses, phone numbers, or identifiers for tracking.

Analytics / Tracking

We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers in the App.

2) Media Permissions (Camera & Photo Library)

The App may request access to your device Camera and Photo Library so you can:

  • Record videos using the camera
  • Select videos from your gallery to edit
  • Export edited videos to your Photos or share them with apps you choose

These permissions are used only to provide the core functionality of the App. We do not upload your media to our servers.

3) Subscriptions & Payments (Apple + RevenueCat)

The App offers optional paid subscriptions. Payments are processed by the Apple App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status (entitlements) so the App can unlock premium features.

  • We do not receive your credit card details.
  • We do not receive your name or email from Apple.
  • RevenueCat may process basic purchase-related events to confirm subscription status.

You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings on your device.

4) How Your Content Is Handled

Videos you record or select are processed on your device for editing. We do not store your media on any server. Your content is only saved to your device when you export it.

5) Sharing

If you choose to share or export a video, it will be shared using Apple’s share sheet or saved to your Photos. The App only performs the action you initiate.

6) Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7) Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
